LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- The Irish rock band U2 said it plans to bring its 360 concert tour back to North America next summer.

The group announced Monday that it plans to make stops in Anaheim, Denver, Oakland, Seattle, Edmonton, East Lansing, Miami, Philadelphia and Montreal in 2010.

U2 360 will also return for one night only in Toronto and Chicago before finishing the North American leg in New Jersey at the new Meadowlands Stadium. The dates are to be followed by a string of European concerts, many of which are already sold out.

"U2 2010 will offer fans, who missed out, a new opportunity to experience the U2 stadium spectacle," Live Nation said in a news release.
