NEW YORK, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- VH1 said its U.S. competition series "I Want to Work for Diddy," starring hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, is to return for a second season next month.

The show is to premiere Nov. 2.

"Diddy is again on the hunt for the one assistant able to meet his super-high standards," the network said in a news release. "A batch of 11 new hopefuls will be granted the opportunity to battle it out for one of entertainment's toughest jobs."

"Last season, I was hands-off and left it to the judges," Diddy said in a statement. "This season, I'm taking a foot-in-ass, all-over-your-brain approach to finding this assistant."

The applicants must do their best to impress not only Diddy, but an intimidating panel of judges. Back from Season 1 are Bad Boy executive Phil Robinson and former Diddy assistant Capricorn Clark, now global brand director for Sean "Diddy" Combs, VH1 said.
