NASHVILLE, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Nashville star Trace Adkins, set to make his third appearance on ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," says the show is doing "God's work."
Adkins volunteered to help rebuild the Lancaster, Texas, home of Carlton Marshall, a former Dallas police officer who is in a wheelchair after being shot during a SWAT operation. In the episode set to air Oct. 18, Marshall -- who lost his hearing when he was shot and subsequently suffered a stroke -- and his wife, Susan, a homicide detective, are told their home will be rebuilt in seven days.
