May 29 (UPI) -- British author J.K. Rowling confirmed she completed the screenplay for the sequel to the 2016 blockbuster Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

"Have you already write the script of Fantastic Beasts 2? TELL ME EVERYTHING WOMAN," a fan tweeted Sunday.

"Yes, I have, but I CAN'T TELL YOU ANYTHING YET, WOMAN," Rowling replied Sunday.

Director David Yates and producer David Heyman said last year the four central characters from the New York-set Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will appear in the followup, which will take place in Paris.

Expected to return are Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Katherine Waterston as Tina, Alison Sudol as Queenie and Dan Fogler as Jacob. Joining the cast for the sequel will be Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore, a beloved character from Rowling's iconic Harry Potter books and movies.
