Lionsgate to release Tom Hiddleston-Maisie Williams movie 'Early Man' in the U.S.

May 26 (UPI) -- Britain's Aardman Animations says Lionsgate is to release its movie Early Man in the United States on Feb. 16.

"We're delighted to be reunited with @Lionsgate to bring @earlymanmovie to US theatres on Feb 16th 2018! #EarlyMan," Aardman tweeted Friday.

Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston and Maisie Williams lead the voice cast of director Nick Park's film, which is due in British theaters on Jan. 26. They play prehistoric characters Dug, Lord Nooth and Goona.

Park and Aardman are the creators of the cartoon icons Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep.
