'Fate of the Furious' is the No. 1 movie in North America with $38.7M

April 23 (UPI) -- The Fate of the Furious is the No. 1 movie in North America for a second weekend, earning $38.7 million, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is The Boss Baby with $12.8 million, followed by Beauty and the Beast at No. 3 with $10 million, Born in China at No. 4 with $5.1 million and Going in Style at No. 5 with $5 million.

Rounding out the top tier are Smurfs: The Lost Village at No. 6 with $4.9 million, Unforgettable at No. 7 with $4.8 million, Gifted at No. 8 with $4.5 million, The Promise at No. 9 with $4 million and The Lost City of Z with $2.1 million.
