'Get Out' tops the North American box office with $30.5M

Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Jordan Peele's comedy-horror film Get Out is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $30.5 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is The LEGO Batman movie with $19 million, followed by John Wick: Chapter Two at No. 3 with $9 million, The Great Wall at No. 4 with $8.7 million and Fifty Shades Darker at No. 5 with $7.7 million.

Rounding out the top tier are Fist Fight at No. 6 with $6.4 million, Hidden Figures at No. 7 with $5.9 million, La La Land at No. 8 with $4.6 million, Split at No. 9 with $4.1 million and Lion at No. 10 with $3.8 million.
