Millie Bobby Brown joins cast of 'Godzilla' sequel

Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Stranger Things breakout star Millie Bobby Brown has landed a role in the sequel to 2014's Godzilla.

"Welcome to the Legendary family, @milliebbrown!" the production company tweeted.

Godzilla: King of Monsters is due in theaters in 2019.

Brown, along with her Stranger Things cast-mates, won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Ensemble in a TV Drama Sunday night. The 12-year-old actress also was recently named the face of a fashion campaign titled Calvin Klein by Appointment.
