As Cena is shot and left unable to move, it's up to Johnson to keep his friend alive and take out the sniper before its too late.

"The Wall is a deadly psychological thriller that follows two soldiers pinned down by an Iraqi sniper, with nothing but a crumbling wall between them. Their fight becomes as much a battle of will and wits as it is of lethally accurate marksmanship," reads the official synopsis.

Directed by Doug Liman, (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Edge of Tomorrow), The Wall is a joint production between Amazon Studios and Roadside Attractions that will release in theaters March 10.

The role marks the latest for Cena, best known as a WWE Superstar after appearing in comedies Trainwreck and Sisters. He recently signed on to star in a new comedy alongside Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz titled The Pact about a group of parents who try to stop their daughters from losing their virginity on prom night.
