James McAvoy changes body, personality in second 'Split' trailer

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- James McAvoy switches between different personalities and body types in the second trailer for director M. Night Shyamalan's latest thriller, Split.

The clip, released Wednesday, features some of the 23 personalities that the demented Kevin (McAvoy) possess as he abducts and torments a group of teenage girls.

Things really start to keep creepy once Kevin begins morphing his body to fit some of his personalities and before long he is seen climbing walls as he chases down his captors within his lair.

"An individual with multiple personalities can change their body chemistry with their thoughts," notes Kevin's psychiatrist Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley). "There is no limit to what he can become."

Also starring Anya Taylor-Joy, Split is set to arrive theaters Jan.20.
