LOS ANGELES, Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Trolls stars Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake charmed on the red carpet Sunday.

The 31-year-old actress and 35-year-old singer attended the movie's Los Angeles premiere at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood.

Kendrick turned heads in a velvet minidress with sparkling embellishments and a tie neck. Timberlake, meanwhile, was all smiles in a navy jacket and pink shirt as he posed for photos on the red carpet.

Zooey Deschanel, James Corden and Quvenzhané Wallis were among the other stars at the event. The film also features the voices of Russell Brand, Gwen Stefani, Icona Pop, Christine Baranski and Jeffrey Tambor.

Trolls is based on the dolls of the same name, which were originally created by Thomas Dam in 1959. Corden told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere that he enjoyed singing with Timberlake for the movie.

"I spent like half a day doing singing which is always quite, you know, terrifying if you're me and it's him, but I think I got away with it," the Late Late Show host said. "I think it was fun. I certainly loved it."

Trolls opens in theaters Nov. 4. Kendrick will also star in Table 19 with Craig Robinson and Pitch Perfect 3 with Rebel Wilson and Anna Camp, while Timberlake is slated to appear in a new Woody Allen film.
