Susan, who suffers from extreme insomnia, is sent a book written by Edward, which she believes is a threat. Ford mingles Susan's life with the details in Edward's novel, blurring the lines between reality and dark imagination.

The film, which also stars Isla Fisher, Laura Linney, Michael Shannon, and Armie Hammer premieres on Nov. 18.
