LOS ANGELES, July 27 (UPI) -- Mila Kunis and Kristen Bell turned heads on the red carpet Tuesday.

The actresses attended the Los Angeles premiere of their movie, Bad Moms, at the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood.

Kunis and Bell both stunned in short dresses perfect for summer. Kunis, who is expecting her second child with Ashton Kutcher, wore a black dress with an empire waist, while Bell chose a yellow dress with beaded detail.

Kathryn Hahn, Christina Applegate and Annie Mumolo were among the other stars who walked the red carpet. The film also co-stars Jada Pinkett Smith and Jay Hernandez, who weren't present.

Bad Moms follows a trio of over-stressed moms (Kunis, Bell and Hahn) as they blow off steam and go up against the queen bee (Applegate) at their children's school. Bell, who is mom to two children, recently discussed the comedy in an interview with Cosmopolitan.

"I have never laughed that hard at reading a script in my life," she told the magazine. "It also had an incredibly powerful message that I believe in wholeheartedly, which is, 'Let's stop being on different teams, moms. It's all Team Mom.'"

"I certainly hope people will watch more movies about the comedy within motherhood," the actress added. "We're all striving to be better and we need a lot more forgiveness from our friends and also from other moms, but particularly, from ourselves."

Bad Moms is directed by The Hangover helmers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. The movie opens in theaters Friday.
