Footage from 'Justice League,' 'King Arthur,' 'Suicide Squad' wows Comic-Con crowd

SAN DIEGO, July 24 (UPI) -- Warner Bros. gifted San Diego Comic-Con fans this weekend with teasers for several of its most highly anticipated movies.

Unveiled was fresh footage from the studio's comic-book adaptations Suicide Squad and Justice League, as well as its new spin on the British King Arthur myth.

Starring Jared Leto as Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot and Viola Davis as government official Amanda Waller, Suicide Squad is a supervillain ensemble picture due in theaters Aug 5. It was directed by David Ayer.

With a cast that boasts Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as the Flash and Jason Momoa as Aquaman, the Zack Snyder-helmed, sci-fi flick Justice League is set for release Nov. 17, 2017.

The studio also offered a glimpse of Charlie Hunnam as the titular, medieval monarch in the action-adventure picture King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, directed by Guy Ritchie. Co-starring Jude Law, Aidan Gillen, Eric Bana and Djimon Hounsou, it is scheduled to open in theaters March 24, 2017.
