LOS ANGELES, June 30 (UPI) -- Ariel Winter stripped down while filming the movie Dog Years this week.

The 18-year-old actress assured fans she was wearing pasties after sharing a bathtub scene from the drama Wednesday on Instagram.

"Today's office... relax everyone it's cranberry juice and I'm wearing lady bit pasties. #DogYears #set #movie," she captioned the photo.

Dog Years co-stars Burt Reynolds as Vic Edwards, an aging movie star coming to terms with his faded fame. Knox News reported this month that Winter will portray "an emotionally unstable young woman" assigned to be Vic's driver.

Winter is best known for playing Alex Dunphy on Modern Family and previously appeared in the movies Killers and Excision. The teenager will head to UCLA in the fall but told E! News in 2015 she hopes to continue acting.

"I would love to continue acting but it's definitely important, I think, to go and do something else as well," she said. "You never know if something's not going to work out, if one day acting is like, 'No, we don't like you anymore!'"

"You gotta have something else you can do," the star added. "I've always been interested in law so I think it'll definitely be something that I'll love to do and also go to school for."

Winter graduated from high school June 13 and later confirmed her split from boyfriend Laurent Claude Gaudette with a Kim Kardashian gif. The actress will return on Modern Family in September.
