"Here's the first look at the incredible @DisneyAnimation movie we've been working very hard to bring to life for the world to enjoy," the actor captioned the picture before announcing that he would debut on a new trailer for the film on Sunday.

"It's a visual and singing journey unlike anything you have ever seen before. And get ready.. THIS SUNDAY I'll bring you the EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK teaser trailer for #MOANA. Our journey has only just begun...," he continued. Moana is due in theaters Nov. 23.

On June 17, Johnson will be seen alongside Kevin Hart in their upcoming action-comedy Central Intelligence. Appearing on Good Morning America Wednesday, Hart praised Johnson explaining that he provided most of the comedy seen in the film.

"Normally I would trash DJ, but this time I'm going to take the chance to hit him with nothing but positivity," he said referring to his costar.

"And this movie, what people have to understand is, Dwayne is the comedy. He's the comic relief. I'm the straight man, and he did a great job of delivering the comedy. So I take my hat off to you. He carried the comedy in this film."
