Lindsay Lohan visits 'The Parent Trap' house in London

LONDON, June 6 (UPI) -- Lindsay Lohan recently paid a visit to The Parent Trap house in London.

The 29-year-old actress, who played Annie James in the 1998 movie, stopped by the character's home Sunday and posted a photo from the residence on Instagram.

"A trip down memory lane #sundayfunday #theparenttrapmovie 'Annie's house' but it was number 7 in the movie," she wrote of the house, which is now marked 23.

Lohan was 11 years old when she played the dual role of Annie James and Hallie Parker in The Parent Trap. The characters are identical twins who swap places after meeting for the first time at summer camp.

"Meeting her and you just knew, right off the bat -- this was her very first [movie] -- she was so natural," Dennis Quaid, who played Annie and Hallie's dad, recalled of Lohan to HuffPost Live in November.

"She just came out of herself and what a talented, talented kid," the actor lauded. "I myself forgot that she was just one person. Watching the movie, I think it's two people!"

Lohan had posted a throwback photo of herself as Annie to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in March, writing, "Happy #St.Patrick'sDayReds." She followed up by recreating a scene from The Parent Trap with Dubsmash.

Lohan has since starred in such films as Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls and The Canyons. She will next appear in The Shadow Within with Penny Dreadful actress Charlotte Beckett.
