LOS ANGELES, May 13 (UPI) -- Ben Affleck stars as a troubled math genius in the first trailer for the Warner Bros. upcoming drama The Accountant.

The clip, released Thursday, set to Radiohead's "Everything in its Right Place," follows gifted child prodigy Christian Wolf (Affleck), as he becomes a "freelance accountant for some of the world's most dangerous criminal organizations."

Wolf goes to work for a normal corporate client in order to avoid the Treasury Department, which has become suspicious of his work. And this is where the story really begins.

"With the Treasury Department's Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars," reads the film's official synopsis.

"But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise."

Directed by Gavin O'Connor, the film also stars Jon Bernthal, Jeffrey Tambor, and John Lithgow.
