'Zootopia' is the No. 1 movie in North America with $73.7 million

LOS ANGELES, March 6 (UPI) -- The animated animal adventure Zootopia is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $73.7 million in its debut weekend, Rentrak announced Sunday.

The family flick features the voice talents of Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, Ginnifer Goodwin and J.K. Simmons.

Coming in at No. 2 is London Has Fallen with $21.7 million, followed by Deadpool at No. 3 with $16.4 million, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot at No. 4 with $7.6 million and Gods of Egypt at No. 5 with $5 million.

Rounding out the top tier are Risen at No. 6 with $3.9 million, Kung Fu Panda 3 at No. 7 with $3.5 million, The Revenant at No. 8 with $3.3 million, Eddie the Eagle at No. 9 with $3.1 million and The Witch at No. 10 with $2.5 million.
