LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Turkish Airlines has teamed up with Warner Bros. Pictures to create a Batman v Superman spot that advertises flights to the fictional comic book cities of Gotham and Metropolis.

The ads, which aired Sunday before and after Super Bowl 50, feature Batman v Superman stars Ben Affleck as Batman's alter ego Bruce Wayne and Jesse Eisenberg as the sinister Lex Luthor.

For Gotham, the airline encourages fans to visit the city that has "risen above its past" with a thriving nightlife and a chance to discover why "Gotham City is great again."

"Thanks to a significant grant from my company Wayne Enterprises, Gotham is being restored to its former glory," Wayne exclaims.

On the Metropolis side, Turkish Airlines describes it as a bright, high-tech city of tomorrow that has rebuilt itself following the destructive events of Man of Steel. "Thanks to LexCorp's substantial contribution, Metropolis is now open for business again," Luthor says cooly after Superman is seen flying above.

Both ads wrap up showing the upcoming superhero epic's intimate showdown between Batman and Superman.
