Daniel Radcliffe in first teaser trailer for 'Now You See Me 2'

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment have released the first teaser trailer for their magic-based thriller, Now You See Me 2.

The first look at the sequel recalls the events of the original 2013 hit film, Now You See Me and features plenty of mind-bending card tricks, disappearing acts and explosive action scenes.

Daniel Radcliffe makes a surprise appearance near the end of the teaser, unable to perform a simple card trick. Radcliffe is joined by the original star-studded cast which includes Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine.

"One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public's adulation with their mind-bending spectacles, the Four Horsemen resurface in Now You See Me 2 only to find themselves face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet," reads the film's official synopsis.

Now You See Me 2 will be directed by Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and is set to hit theaters on June 10.
