Watch Sony's final 'Spectre' trailer

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 3 (UPI) -- The final trailer for the upcoming James Bond spy thriller Spectre has gotten nearly 1 million views since Sony Pictures posted it on YouTube Friday.

"A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre," said a message accompanying the 75-second clip.

Directed by Sam Mendes, the film stars Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Christoph Waltz, Léa Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista and Andrew Scott.

Spectre is set for release Nov. 6 and will feature a theme song by Sam Smith.
