LOS ANGELES, July 17 (UPI) -- Milla Jovovich teased the final Resident Evil movie Thursday on Instagram.

The 39-year-old actress shared a behind-the-scenes photo of her preparations for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. The picture was taken as Jovovich had her face cast made in plaster for the film.

"Well, the moment so many of you have been waiting for is finally here where I can tell you that it's zombie killing season for the Jovovich-Anderson clan!" she wrote. "I leave to South Africa tomorrow to start prepping for the movie! #residentevilmovie #ladiary."

Jovovich will reprise Alice in the sequel, which is directed by the star's husband, Paul W.S. Anderson, and scheduled to open in theaters September 2, 2016. Filming will begin in August, having been previously delayed due to the actress' pregnancy.

Jovovich and Anderson have collaborated on five prior Resident Evil movies, with Anderson as either director or producer. The couple married in August 2009, and are parents to seven-year-old daughter Ever and three-month old daughter Dashiel.
