Cara Delevingne, Dane DeHaan to star in Luc Besson's next sci-fi picture 'Valerian'

PARIS, May 12 (UPI) -- French filmmaker Luc Besson revealed his next project in his first-ever tweet Tuesday.

"My first tweet ever! Let's share a real news! My next film is a big sci-fi: #Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets," Besson said as he christened his Twitter account.

Subsequent tweets explained he will start shooting the movie in December with Cara Delevingne and Dane DeHaan leading his cast. The film is scheduled for a 2017 release.

Besson's other credits include La Femme Nikita, The Professional, The Fifth Element, Taken and Lucy.
