Marvel confirms Russo brothers will helm 'Avengers: Infinity War' two-parter

LOS ANGELES, April 7 (UPI) -- Marvel confirmed on Tuesday long-swirling rumors that fraternal filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo will, indeed, helm Avengers: Infinity War, Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War, Part 2.

The superhero ensemble films are set to premiere in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

The Russos previously co-directed Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier and are getting ready to shoot Captain America: Civil War. Their small-screen credits include Arrested Development, Community and Happy Endings.
