LOS ANGELES, March 3 (UPI) -- Chris Evans took to Twitter to share a Captain America poster for Avengers: Age of Ultron on Tuesday.

The 33-year-old actor wields an adamantium shield as the Marvel superhero in the photo. Evans captioned the picture, "Fun way to reveal these, Marvel! Enjoy! Less than 2 months away! @Avengers #AgeOfUltron."

The studio has released posters of Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Robert Downey, Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury thus far.

Evans first portrayed the superhero in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), and returned for The Avengers (2012) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014). The actor recently told reporters Avengers: Age of Ultron will see the character examine his own motives.

"There are more relationships in this movie, personal relationships Cap has to witness and I think that does make him question his own purpose," he related. "He wants to serve his country, but what he really wanted was a normal life and then he went into the ice and things changed."
