Golden Globe Awards to be presented Jan. 10, 2016

No host has been named yet for the event, which recognizes excellence in both film and television.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- The Hollywood Foreign Press Association and dick clark productions have announced they will present the 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 10, 2016.

The ceremony will air on NBC live from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

No host has been named yet for the event, which recognizes excellence in both film and television. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler shared hosting duties for the past three years, but said they have no plans to return in 2016.

"We look forward to follow this year's successful Golden Globe Awards by celebrating what looks like another exceptional year in both film and television," Theo Kingma, president of the HFPA, said in a statement.
