Emma Roberts and Dave Franco to co-star on 'Nerve'

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Emma Roberts and Dave Franco will star in the movie adaptation of Jeanne Ryan's young adult novel, Nerve.

The project will be directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman (Catfish) for Lionsgate from a screenplay by Jessica Sharzer.

Nerve follows a shy high school senior who joins an international truth or dare-style game online and sees her advance, which eventually leads her to a dangerous situation.

Roberts recently appeared in two story arcs of FX's American Horror Story and has secured a role in Ryan Murphy's anthology Scream Queens. Franco is currently filming Now You See Me 2.

No further details about Nerve have been revealed.
