Ridiculous 6 is said to be a comedic take on The Magnificent Seven, and will feature Sandler as an orphan who grew up in a Native American tribe. Lautner, Wilson, Schneider and Crews will play his half-brothers, with Nolte as the character's long-lost birth father.

Netflix announced Sandler had committed to produce and star in four original movies in October 2014. The actor last appeared in Men, Women & Children, and is scheduled for Thomas McCarthy film The Cobbler and sci-fi comedy Pixels.

Shelton last released Bringing Back the Sunshine in September 2014, and has served as a coach on NBC reality competition The Voice since its premiere in 2011. The singer hosted and performed on sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live over the weekend.
