LONDON, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- British actor David Ryall has died at the age of 79, his daughter actress Charlie Ryall confirmed.
The cause of his Dec. 25 death has not been disclosed, the BBC said.

LONDON, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- British actor David Ryall has died at the age of 79, his daughter actress Charlie Ryall confirmed. The cause of his Dec. 25 death has not been disclosed, the BBC said.
David Ryall was best known for his work in the films Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, Around the World in 80 Days, Truly, Madly, Deeply and The Elephant Man, as well as in the TV shows The Village, Outnumbered, The Singing Detective, Holby City, Casualty, Midsomer Murders, Goodnight Sweetheart and the U.K. version of House of Cards.

David Ryall is also survived by his son Jonathan, a music manager, and daughter Imogen, a singer.
