Jimmy Fallon welcomes second child, a daughter, with wife Nancy

Like her older sister, Frances Cole Fallon was born via surrogate.

NEW YORK, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy welcomed their second child, a daughter named Frances, via surrogate on Wednesday.

"Frances Cole Fallon officially entered the world at 8:45 am on December 3rd weighing 5 lbs. 11 ounces and is 18.5 inches long," read a statement the couple's rep shared with Us Weekly.

"Their new addition joins big sister, Winnie Rose, 1. The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter, Frances Cole, made her official debut. Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate."

The television host and his wife welcomed their first child on July 23, 2013.

Fallon rose to fame on NBC's late night comedy show Saturday Night Live and has been hosting The Tonight Show since February.
