Jennifer Aniston bares soul in 'Cake' trailer

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- After months of buzz and Oscar talk about Jennifer Aniston's upcoming indie drama Cake, the first trailer for the film has finally premiered.

Cake stars Aniston as Claire Simmons, a woman who becomes friends with a widower while having hallucinations about his dead wife.

The film's first trailer showcases Aniston's acting chops as it finds her character dealing with chronic pain. Cake premiered to rave reviews at the Toronto International Film Festival and both Aniston and the film are said to be Oscar contenders.

The Daniel Barnz-directed film also stars Anna Kendrick and Sam Worthington.
