NEW YORK, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Miles Teller says he was never genuinely terrified on the set of Whiplash.
The 27-year-old actor portrays drum prodigy Andrew Neiman in the new film by writer and director Damien Chazelle. The character is subject to subject to harsh instruction by maestro Terence Fletcher (J.K. Simmons), and the movie questions how far a teacher is allowed to go to bring out the best in a student. Teller and Chazelle detailed the feature in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter at the New York Film Festival.
