Alec Baldwin, Kevin Spacey to play rival tots in animated 'Boss Baby' movie

Inspired by Marla Frazee's award-winning picture book of the same name, the computer-generated film will be released by Twentieth Century Fox March 18, 2016.

GLENDALE, Calif., Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Glengarry Glen Ross co-stars Alec Baldwin and Kevin Spacey are to lend their distinctive voices to rival toddler executive characters in the animated comedy Boss Baby, DreamWorks Animation announced Tuesday.

"From the day his baby brother arrived -- in a cab... wearing a suit -- 7-year-old Tim knew this fast-talking, briefcase-carrying baby [voiced by Baldwin] was trouble. After all, there's only so much love to go around, right?" a synopsis said. "But as Tim embarks on a mission to win back the sole affection of his parents, he stumbles upon a secret plot by the CEO of Puppy Co. [voiced by Spacey] that threatens to destroy the balance of love in the world."

Inspired by Marla Frazee's award-winning picture book of the same name, the computer-generated film will be released by Twentieth Century Fox March 18, 2016.

Baldwin recently wrapped a seven-season run on NBC's 30 Rock where he earned numerous awards for his portrayal of a television network executive.

Spacey is currently garnering accolades for his performance as a politician in Netflix's House of Cards.
