Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum star in new 'Jupiter Ascending' trailer

Jupiter Ascending is directed by Lana and Andy Wachowski, the directors and screenwriters behind "The Matrix" trilogy of movies.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum star in a fantastical new trailer for Jupiter Ascending.

The 31-year-old actress portrays Jupiter Jones, a janitor who discovers she is the heir to Earth. She and genetically engineered warrior Caine Wise (Tatum) must fight for her birthright when contender Balem (Eddie Redmayne) threatens to destroy Earth rather than lose the planet to Jupiter.

Jupiter Ascending is directed by Lana and Andy Wachowski, the directors and screenwriters behind The Matrix trilogy of movies. Sean Bean, Douglas Booth and Tuppence Middleton also star.

Jupiter Ascending opens in theaters February 6, 2015.
