Yoga Hosers follows Colleen Collette (Lily-Rose Depp) and Colleen McKenzie (Harley Quinn Smith), 15-year-old yoga enthusiasts who work at the Eh-2-Zed convenience store in Manitoba. The teenagers team with legendary man-hunter Guy Lapointe (Johnny Depp) after an ancient evil rises and threatens the world.

"The timing couldn't have been more perfect as so many production companies are struggling to find content to fill a serious void in the market of female superheroes and antiheroes," production company StarStream CEO Kim Leadford said in a statement. "It's pretty exciting to have their dads making the film with them."

Production on Yoga Hosers is scheduled to begin next week. Smith's latest movie, Tusk, will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
