The 51-year-old director confirmed he is making The Hateful Eight, and announced he will release an extended version of Kill Bill.

Tarantino had shelved The Hateful Eight after the movie script leaked online in January. He admitted to being "very, very depressed" after the leak, but hosted a live reading of the script in April. Kurt Russell voiced bounty hunter John Ruth at the event, and revealed his involvement with the film earlier this month. The director originally envisioned The Hateful Eight as a western about a group of contentious travelers trapped in a remote saloon, and will rework the script for the movie.

Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair will be a combined, extended version of Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. Tarantino originally intended O-Ren Ishii's (Lucy Liu) anime sequence in Vol 1. to be half-an-hour long, but the scene was significantly trimmed down in the film. The full sequence will appear in The Whole Bloody Affair, which is scheduled for release in 2015.

Tarantino also has a comic in the works based on his movie Django Unchained (2012). The comic will be a crossover with Zorro, and takes place four years before the events of the film.
