Helen Mirren stars in 'The Hundred-Foot Journey'

LOS ANGELES, July 18 (UPI) -- An Indian restaurant and a French restaurant find themselves in a culinary war in the Helen Mirren film The Hundred-Foot Journey.

Helen Mirren plays French restaurateur Madame Mallory who clashes with the owner of the Indian restaurant (Om Puri) that opens next door.

The Hundred-Foot Journey was directed by Lasse Hallström and stars Helen Mirren, Rohan Chand and Charlotte Le Bon.

The film hits theaters August 8.
