"With all due respect, people of China, stop seeing Transformers so much, you're making movies worse for everyone!" he wrote.

As of Thursday evening, the tweet was favorited 3,200 times and retweeted 2,200, and while that may not seem like that much, that up more than 100 times from the kind of traffic his prior and subsequent tweets got.

Transformers 4, which stars Mark Wahlberg, debuted nearly two weeks ago, taking in $100 million in its first weekend. It still held the top spot July 4 weekend, taking in $36.4 million.
