LOS ANGELES, June 26 (UPI) -- Keira Knightley's character sings a song to bring Dan (Mark Ruffalo) out of his depression from being unemployed in the new movie Begin Again.

Knightley plays a singer-songwriter named Gretta who is dumped by her writing partner and boyfriend Dave (Adam Levine) after he gets a record deal. She then meets Dan, a down-and-out music executive who is inspired by her music after listening to it in a bar.

The film is led by Once director John Carney and will be in theaters June 27.
