LOS ANGELES, June 26 (UPI) -- The new documentary Code Black shows the problems with overcrowding in U.S. emergency rooms and how hospitals struggle to help patients in an overburdened system.

The clip shows emergency personnel working on several patients back-to-back in cramped quarters at Los Angeles County Hospital.

The documentary is already screening in New York City and will open in Los Angeles on June 27 before going nationwide in July.
