LOS ANGELES, June 26 (UPI) -- Demi Lovato advocates for LGBT rights in the official video of her single, "I Really Don't Care."

The clip opens with a shot from the L.A. Pride Parade, which took place in West Hollywood on June 8, where Lovato can be heard saying: "This guy has a 'Burn in hell' poster. You don't have to hate because my Jesus loves all."

The video goes on to show the 21-year-old singer belting out the song on the street as shots from the parade flash intermittently. Lovato is eventually joined by English singer Cher Lloyd, in a different setting.

The clip for "I Really Don't Care" was released Thursday, just one day after Lovato revealed that her grandfather was gay.
