Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton, Ralph Fiennes to join Coen brothers film 'Hail, Caesar!'

The movie is a comedy set during the Golden Age of Hollywood.

LOS ANGELES, June 24 (UPI) -- Several actors are currently in negotiations to join the cast of Hail, Caesar!

Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton and Ralph Fiennes are in talks to join George Clooney and Josh Brolin in the new Coen brothers movie. The film is being produced by Coen company Mike Zoss Productions, and will be distributed by Universal Pictures.

The feature is set in the 1950s and follows Eddie Mannix, a film executive during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Tatum would play a Gene Kelly-type star, Fiennes would portray a studio director and Swinton would appear as a powerful gossip columnist.

Swinton and Fiennes recently collaborated on Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel. The actress will next appear in Judd Apatow's Trainwreck, Fiennes in Two Women and Tatum in Jupiter Ascending. The Coen brothers' most recent film was Inside Llewyn Davis in 2013, and the pair are currently executive producers on the television series Fargo.
