LOS ANGELES, June 20 (UPI) -- Mark Wahlberg stars as an overprotective father in a sneak peek for Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Mark Wahlberg plays Cade Yeager, an automobile mechanic who brings home a truck only to discover it is Optimus Prime.

In addition to the stress of an autobot war, he has a teenage daughter (Nicola Peltz) whom he is determined to protect from both transformers and teenage boys.

Transformers: Age of Extinction will hit theaters June 27.
