The upcoming movie is a Joe Wright (Atonement, Anna Karenina) rework of the original 1902 Peter Pan story by J.M. Barrie. The plot is said to be a dark origin tale that follows the orphan Peter (Levi Miller) after he is spirited away to Neverland. Amanda Seyfried, Garrett Hedlund and Rooney Mara also star as Mary, Hook and Tiger Lily, respectively.

Pan is scheduled for release July 17, 2015.
