NEW YORK, June 2 (UPI) -- Quvenzhané Wallis stars as an outspoken orphan in a new trailer for the remake of Annie starring Jamie Foxx as her doting benefactor.

Foxx plays business tycoon and New York City mayoral candidate Will Stacks. Stacks saves Annie as she is chasing her dog, Sandy, and takes her in to boost his image as a hero.

Stacks gets closer to Annie with the help of his vice president Grace (Rose Byrne) and his campaign advisor Guy (Bobby Cannavale). Cameron Diaz plays Miss Hannigan, Annie's wicked foster mom.
