'Guardians of the Galaxy' debuts new trailer

'Guardians of the Galaxy' is directed by James Gunn, and also stars Lee Pace as main antagonist Ronan the Accuser.

LOS ANGELES, May 19 (UPI) -- Guardians of the Galaxy has unveiled a new, full-length trailer.

The footage introduces the Guardians as "a thief" (Chris Pratt as Peter Quill), "two thugs" (Bradley Cooper as Rocket and Vin Diesel as Groot), "an assassin" (Zoe Saldana as Gamora) and "a maniac" (Dave Bautista as Dax the Destroyer). Djimon Hounsou, Glenn Close and John C. Reilly also appear as Korath the Pursuer, Nova Prime Rael and Rhomann Dey, respectively.

Guardians of the Galaxy debuts in theaters August 1.
