Katey Sagal to appear in 'Pitch Perfect 2'

The actress is best known for her work on TV's "Sons of Anarchy," "Lost" and "Married with Children."

LOS ANGELES, May 15 (UPI) -- Katey Sagal has landed a role in Pitch Perfect 2, the music-themed film's director, Elizabeth Banks, confirmed on her blog.

"The fantastic Katey Sagal has joined our #PitchPerfect 2 fam as Hailee Steinfeld's mom. Are we fangirling yet?" Banks wrote about the casting for her directorial debut.

Best known for her work on TV's Sons of Anarchy, Lost, 8 Simple Rules and Married with Children, Sagal is also a recording artist.

The Pitch Perfect sequel is set for a 2015 release. Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson, the stars of the original 2012 hit, are already on board.
