NEW YORK, April 29 (UPI) -- Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd star in the first trailer for They Came Together.

The 42-year-old actress and 45-year-old actor portray Molly and Joel in the new film. The movie satirizes the romantic comedy genre, and the plot appears to spoof 1998 hit You've Got Mail. Molly is a candy shop owner whose small business becomes threatened by Joel's corporation.

David Wain, who previously worked with Poehler and Rudd on Wet Hot American Summer, directed the new movie. Other stars include Cobie Smulders as Tiffany, Christopher Meloni as Joel's boss, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Frank and Michael Shannon as Spike. Adam Scott, John Stamos and Jack McBrayer also appear.

They Came Together debuts in theaters on June 27.
