LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Emmanuel Lubezki, the cinematographer for the film "Gravity," has received the 28th American Society of Cinematographers Award for feature film, officials said.

The award ceremony took place Saturday evening at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Times reported.

This was Lubezki's third time receiving the top award; in 2012, he won the award for "The Tree of Life" and in 2007 for "Children of Men."

Also at the ceremony, Dean Cundey was given the ASC Lifetime Achievement Award, while Eduardo Serra received the ASC International Award.
